Your Privacy and Reporting Fraud
The need for Privacy Compliance when managing fraud related information is of paramount importance to IFBA.
If you make a report concerning a suspected fraud, your information does not need to be recorded. You can remain anonymous. If you do provide your contact details to IFBA, all information is maintained onsite by our fraud information coordinator and after 90 days is destroyed.
IFBA will, when it is satisfied that there has been a possible fraud committed, transmit the information you provide to relevant insurance companies. Insurance companies adhere strictly to Australian privacy legislation and handle the information accordingly for investigation and potential law enforcement purposes.
